The garage is usually the last room in the house to get any attention, and it shows. We take on garage work at both ends of the scale, from fixing what has worn out to turning the space into somewhere you would actually spend time.
On the repair side that means concrete floor repair and coating, replacing drywall that has taken years of knocks, sorting out framing, building proper storage instead of the shelves that came with the house, and replacing service doors that no longer seal or latch. Most of these are the kind of job other contractors will not return a call for. We will.
On the remodeling side, a garage is one of the cheapest ways to add real living space, because the walls and roof already exist. That work covers insulation, drywall and finishing, flooring that suits a slab rather than fighting it, electrical and lighting, heating and cooling, and either replacing the overhead door or closing the opening in and framing it properly. Whether it becomes a gym, an office, a playroom or a workshop changes the plan, so we ask first.
Garages bring problems the rest of the house does not. The slab often sits below grade and pulls moisture, the ceiling height is rarely what it looks like, and the original build almost never included insulation. We look at all of that during the estimate and tell you plainly what the space can carry before you commit to anything.

Garage Repair and Remodeling FAQs
Can you convert a garage without losing the parking?
Sometimes. On a two car garage we can often finish half and leave the rest usable, with a proper wall between them rather than a partition that lets the cold straight through. On a single garage it is normally one or the other, and we will say so at the estimate.
Will a converted garage feel cold?
Not if it is done properly. The reason most converted garages feel cold is that the slab was never insulated and the original walls were never meant to hold heat. We deal with both as part of the work, which is the difference between a finished room and a garage with carpet in it.
